6 Things You Should Never Do After Eating

According to health experts, we have the habits of lying down or sitting in a chair every after meal but this is wrong and it can put our health at risk. In this video I am about to share with you are important things that you should avoid after eating:

6 Things You Should Never Do After Eating

1.Smoking

Cigarette smoking is dangerous to your health but, it’s ten times the killer if you smoke after a meal.

We all know that cigarette has nicotine, a substance that binds to oxygen in which your body desperately needs for digestion.

Studies show that smoking a cigarette after a meal has the same effect as smoking 10 sticks of cigarettes at once and increase the risk of bowel and lung cancer which is fatal.

2.Don’t drink cold water after a meal

Drinking cold water will not help the digestion process properly because it will clump the food.

However, lukewarm water is best to drink for it absorbs nutrients easily.

3.Don’t take a bath after a meal

However, if you feel so stinky and could no longer wait to clean your body, thirty minutes after eating will do.

For all we know in digestion process two things are needed, lots of energy and blood flow in our body.

But in taking a bath using warm water the blood will flow towards your skin to release off heat and it will make the digestion difficult to work.

4.Don’t sleep right after a meal

After a meal we usually take a nap or go to sleep, but this kind of habit is unhealthy and dangerous.

Because you’re not in an upright position which is the preferred way for your body to digest food.

So, in return, some digestive juices which is acidic in nature can burn the inner layer of the esophagus causing acid reflux.

5.Don’t drink tea after a meal

There are lots of benefits if we drink tea but, drinking tea after meal should be avoided because the tannic acid which is present in the tea will bind the protein and iron in the food and will prevent the absorption of the iron in our body.

6.Eating fruits right after a meal

Eating fruits is being recommend by nutritionist specially if you are on your diet, for it will be digested easily and it has lots of nutrition that we need.

However, eating fruits right after a meal is not a great idea, as it may not be digested properly. The nutrients may not be absorbed properly either.
