In making vegetable salad, we mixed any kinds of ingredients of whatever we like. But did you know that there are some fruits shouldn’t be mixed together for they contain properties that will react and cause health problems.

One best example is, cucumber and tomato, these two vegetables have different time to digest, to avoid complications you should know when to eat these vegetables separately. If slow and fast digestion foods are combined it will result in a fermentation of the blood in your stomach, which may poison your entire body.

In this case, the digestion of sugars and starches are slow which will cause gasses, swelling and pain in the abdomen. Here are more combinations of foods you should also avoid.

1. Never Eat Fruits right after Meal 
Eating fruits need a lot of time to digest thus, it will stay long in your stomach. However, if you eat fruits right after meal it will result in acid reflux.

2. Fruit and Yogurt 
Never eat yogurt and mixed it with fruits. This combination will slow down the digestion process and harmed the intestinal flora, in extreme cases this could lead to food poisoning.

3. Macaroni and Cheese 
You might be surprised on this combination but yes, it must be avoided too. Macaroni is full of starch which has a different digestion time compared to protein. In this case it may lead to inevitable fermentation and digestive problems.

4. Milk and Bananas 
Eating this combination will slow down the digestion process. On the other hand, it is also a good combination if you are trying to lose some weight but, you may try another type of food which is rich in fiber that may also help you in your dietary plan.

5. Cheese and Meat 
Both cheese and meat are rich in protein. However, combining these two ingredients will result in too much protein which is not good for your health.

6. Melon and Watermelon 
Never try combining these fruits. Melons should be eaten on an empty stomach, alone. Remember that, melons digest quicker than watermelon, if they will mix together it will slow down the digestion process and bowel movements.

7. Vegetables and Cheese 
To avoid bloated stomach, never combine this food.

8. Bread or Noodles and Orange Juice 
Orange juice contain acid that will destroy the enzyme responsible for starch digestion that could lead problems in digestion process.
